MindWorks Therapy Training provides cutting-edge tuition in the fields of hypnotherapy, and psychotherapy. Whether you are new to the profession or looking for advanced specialist therapy training to further your career, MindWorks has a range of courses delivered by highly qualified and experienced professionals in an engaging and motivating environment.

MindWorks has been successfully running professional therapy training for 25 years (since 1995). Our Pracitioner courses are accredited at practitioner level by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and the National Council of Psychotherapists (NCP). We also offer training in continuing professional development (please see the course pages for details).

Jason Fletcher

Principal and Lead Course Tutor

With over 20 years of experience providing therapy training in both the public and private sector, Jason is the Principal and lead course tutor for MindWorks. Jason runs a thriving practice covering Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire and on-line working with people all over the UK and internationally. He works with advanced integrated methods to help his clients to find full, lasting resolution. Jason also specialises in working with clients wishing to recover from adverse childhood experiences, including people with a history of trauma and abuse.  He is also an accredited supervisor and has been a trainer for other therapists wishing to become supervisors. Jason is a Fellow member of the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP) and holds Senior Practitioner status with the General Hypnotherapy register.

Sue Grainger

Lead Course Tutor

Sue runs busy hypnotherapy practices in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Sue is a qualified Family Support Worker and Nursery Nurse with over 20 years experience of working with children and families on a range of issues from sleep to teenage issues. Sue has previously worked within the local authority, voluntary sector and the NHS. She has a special interest in using hypnosis and NLP techniques with children and young people, and is a Hypnotherapy in Schools Practitioner. Sue is also an accredited therapy supervisor.

Serena has enjoyed a rich and varied career within the Health and Social Care industry for over 18 years - managing projects, facilitating & teaching sessions, plus working one to one with vulnerable individuals, to help them make positive changes in their lives.

Serena trained and qualified with MindWorks focusing on ‘Creating Space for Women to Thrive.’ Through her practice, she uses Hypnotherapy and NLP to help her clients build confidence, improve low moods, break negative thought patterns and increase motivation.

Jude Hoy

Course Tutor

Jude lectured in Psychology after studying the subject at degree level. Following her extensive world travels, she went on to work in marketing and business, mainly within the field of tertiary education. In 2010, she qualified with MindWorks. Jude practices in West Bridgford, Nottingham, but also has clients both nationally and internationally. She works with people with a wide range of issues and has particular interest in the areas of weight management, confidence, motivation and positivity. She uses her training in the fields of Diet and Nutrition and Positive Psychology to enhance her practice.
Tamsin White OBE

Tamsin White OBE

Assessor of Quality and Training

Tamsin runs her busy therapy practice working both with adults and young people. She also specialises in working with clients with a history of trauma and abuse. With a background in Criminal Law, Tamsin has also worked in the Child Abuse Investigation Unit for Nottinghamshire Police. She has a Part-Time role as Responsible Individual for a children’s home in Northamptonshire for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.  With a colleague, Tamsin created an organisation in Nottinghamshire to provide therapeutic support to children, young people and adults. As a result of her work, Tamsin received an OBE for Services to Child Protection, and was awarded this in the Queen’s New Year’s Honour List 2015.
